Maybe I am missing something here, but I can’t select the apps I want to route via Adguard VPN on Android.
I do not see this:
I have lifetime license for both AG and 5-year of VPN.

App filtering has to be done in the Adguard application if you’re using both apps together. You’d simply go into the “apps management” section of Adguard and uncheck the apps you don’t want filtered through the VPN (or do vice versa for the ones you do). https://i.imgur.com/2qIHZKk.jpg
But there is nothing related to VPN in Adguard apps management. I only see the regular things like cellular, https blocking etc I apps management.
Going into the apps management section of Adguard VPN by default takes you straight into the Adguard app where you then apply your tunneling/filtering preferences. There is no other setting with which to apply these changes if you are using both apps together.
That’s why I included the previous screenshot link for your reference so you could see what I was referring to. It actually says that is what you have to do if you want to filter certain apps.
I still do not get it.
There is nowhere I can choose VPN inside the adguard app management for Android. I am well aquinted with those settings without Adguard VPN. But I can’t figure out where I enable VPN for a few apps but still keeping the adblock part.
Does anyone know about this?
Feels very strange that in the screenshot above, you can choose which apps to filter. But it is not there at all in apps management.
If you use the compatibility mode (to have the VPN and the ad-blocker working together) you will not be able to manage individual apps in the VPN.
You must disable the compatibility mode to choose individual apps, but you’ll lose the ad-blocking features while the VPN is on.
You have to choose one:
a) Enable or disable VPN for individual apps.
b) Have VPN and ad-blocking enabled at the same time.
