Animal Well is too expensive

The game costs $25 and contains only 40MB of content, that is $0.625 per MB?!?!

Compare it to Baldur’s Gate 3 which for $60 offers a whopping 150GB of content!!! That is $0.0004 per MB. What a deal!

Clearly they need to increase the filesize of the game to at least a few dozen GBs. I did not buy a large SSD to keep it empty

I’d rather play a good game with a lot of gigabyte like call.of duty

Animal Well once ate my shoes.

Where’s the BATTLEPASSSSSSS

Billy worked on this for 7 years. 40 MB / 7 year = 12.4 MB per year. I am an Outraged Consumer

they should stuff the game with anime girl pics like all the gacha games

yeah but how many MB are in the loaf of wonder bread that you got

Being completely serious I really appreciate that unlike many publishers Bigmode took care of adjusting the price to different markets, if you look at steamdb you can see that prices were adjusted for countries with lower levels of average income so that it’s more affordable for people living there

i hope animal well adds micro transactions and a battle pass like they promised us at e3

Animal Well is fired

go home, Reggie

Storage inflation from AAA games is insane. I remember mw2 2009 being 10gb maybe, and has triple the content the new CODs have, while still looking AMAZING at the time. Now you get 3 games total on your console and you’re full

Animal Well, more like Animal Hell No I’d rather buy another copy of knack instead

they should make a free dlc on steam thats just 50 GB of junk data to bump up the file size, this would surely make the game much more gooder

The game is free on PlayStation Plus

I typically calculate at enjoyment per $. Your metrics would make EA games seem reasonable.

Well of course there wouldn’t be too many megabytes left. Do you know how many animals are in Animal Well? Did you just expect those animals to not have a mega bite out of those megabytes? You are clearly nitpicking and biased, I win.

Did you guys hear? I heard Animal Well comes out May 9th. Wish list it on steam. You’ll get a free wonder bread.

I think I’ll wait for the remaster

Forget paying for games per hour. We paying for gigabytes

I woke up and it was just there in my PlayStation subscription. Didn’t even know it was happening.

My kid bought it on steam though, fun game, both enjoying it. And then annoyed when we get stuck. And then loving it more when he have those A-ha! Moments and overcome the stuck.
