Anyone know where the Onion over VPN specialty servers went on the new update?
Yes, this is frustrating. When I tried to connect it to the UK it did the buffering and then went back to “You are not connected”. Also, while connected to the U.S., it’s now a lot slower. Updates should improve, not make things worse. Now I wish I never updated to begin with.
Is it just me or does it seem shady to remove tor over vpn right before the audit?
This is annoying. Confirmed removed for me too. I bought Nord just for tor over vpn and they still advertise it. why would they do this without telling anyone? Was there something unsafe about it or maybe they killed it because of the upcoming audit?
I’m really confused. After updating yesterday, all i’m getting in my Speciality Servers drop down is Obfuscated Servers. No P2P, no Double VPN, no Dedicated IP and - like you - no Onion Over VPN. Nothing else at all. Maybe you should count your blessings

Thank you for your letter.
Unfortunately, the Onion over VPN servers are currently a bit faulty. That is why they sometimes appear and sometimes disappear from the server list. If you do wish to access certain websites with previously used Onion over VPN servers, I would suggest using regular servers with a TOR browser instead. Please note that for general everyday browsing you do not need this feature and it will most likely slow down your connection quite a bit.
Our server administrators are looking into it. However, we do not currently have an ETA on when they would be fully operational again. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

Ok I am confused where is the menu to find the best servers gone. Ths side menu just connects strait away when you click on it. Lucky I still have my recent connections on the taskbar right click menu.
Yeah. The last update did something else for me. It COMPLETELY killed the DoubleVPN option for me. It is selectable, but never connects. I can connect via every other choice (Dedicated, P2P, & Onion) but DoubleVPN just gets stuck on the trying to connect screen.
I spoke with support over the past two weeks. They have no idea why it has happened & claim it’s a server side issue & recommended I choose one of the other options to connect. Very frustrating.
This program has gone downhill fast. Bring back the stability of ver 3.

Yup I noticed they added it now. The Sweden onion isn’t there yet though.
I had sweden onion two days ago. Today I launched the client after a crash and it’s totally gone from the menu. Are you able to connect to it now?
update: since then I see the menu again, but this time the only server is ‘Latvia Onion 1’.
If you find the country and click on the three dots there is a drop down list of servers in order of how congested they are. You can pick the one you want and favourite them during this process if you want. I don’t think this relates to the loss of speciality server options.
Sweden shows up and connects right now but I can’t browse so it’s not working properly
