Recently, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Atlas VPN. Has anyone here tried it? It was talked about on Reddit, but I also wanted to hear your thoughts on it. Does it live up to the hype? My ideal VPN should be simple to set up, offer good security, and not slow down my internet too much. If you’ve used Atlas VPN, please let me know what you thought. Did it live up to your hopes? Have you tried other VPNs before? How does this one compare?
That’s because it’s not safe or good. What makes a VPN good is how well it hides your IP address, how safe your data is, and whether or not it keeps logs.
It seems to have started last year as a “free VPN” app for Android (or iOS?), where it got 50,000 reviews. It’s not bad if you think they’re all organic (real). Their current marketing effort began in May of this year. Their website has a “blog” with 50 pages of news and VPN-related commentary from what is said to be the beginning of the year. This is probably just to help it rank higher in search engines. It’s up to you to decide if they meet your standards for "trustworthiness."It’s odd that they say they’re like HotspotShield, Cyberghost, and Tunnelbear on the home page of their website. But if you want to hear the last word, LOL, it’s this: They don’t back crypto. This is the end of the privacy talk.
