I’ve tested other VPNs (Proton, Express, Nord, Cyber…)

Each of them had somewhat an issue. Last one Cyber was asking for Captchas every 30 seconds…

I went for Mullvad as I heard so much about (wasn’t sure because they don’t spam ads like the others).

And it’s just perfect all-round. Fast, never disconnects, huge list of servers where I need them, no captchas, works with every stream service, works great on both Mac and iPhone, very simple interface, plus the awesome no logging data policy, payment in cash and monero possible <3 (that’s unique as far as I know)

No logs is why I use it. I’m already in the process trying to delete or distance my real identity form as many accounts possible. Last thing I wanted to to have my name attached to yet another service. I don’t have to give MullVad my real name, my address, credit card info, nothing.

Streaming isn’t a concern for me. I can get it to work for stuff like Netflix, ITV and BBC Iplayer but that’s last ditch effort for getting to content that’s region locked.

Mullvad is the best for torrenting by far, no other vpn comes close to Mullvad.

Monero is the real G method of payment and why I use this VPN over all the other trash ones.

The Linux GUI is the best I ever saw.

Same. Their Linux app works so flawlessly. Protons never did for me. And I love that you can send them cash per mail envelope (dollars, euros etc) so even people that aren’t into crypto can pay fully anonymously.

Also love the speeds, no log, and servers availability

Yep, been using it for a good while now, I have no complaints, works great for me. Only ever bothered with bird before and wound up not even using that lol.

That being said - yeah Mullvad is better than Proton, NordVPN, Express, Proton, Cyber, etc.

I have never used a VPN with lower latency, only 1-2ms overhead.

I am new to VPN’s; after doing some reading I selected Mullvad. Unfortunately I am not having much success. I wanted to get more access to Formula 1 information as there is not a lot in the states. I tried 4 servers and with each one, I got the US feed when I went to the Motorsport or Autosport websites. I could tell by looking at the start time for the first race; every time I got my local start time, not the start time for the server location I was using. I tried everything Support suggested except trying more servers; I can’t see that making much difference. Any suggestions?

The only downside about it that I’ve found in 3+ years is… streaming. But it’s worth the sacrifice! Everything else is perfect.

Let me share my personal experience with VPN providers. Believe me, I’ve tested them all :slight_smile: In my honest opinion the king is still NordVPN, especially if you use windows machine. It’s fast, reliable and for decent price. No-one is even close to Nord.

former surfshark user here curious about Mullvad working in Russia. i’ve got a family member there who was having issues with surfshark not working, and also nordvpn has been apparently blocked there too (only new servers work and unreliable)

has anyone had any issues with mullvad from Russia? thnx
