I wish NordVPN had streaming servers, though I’ve never gotten issues unblocking global content or streaming even with its regular servers
I think ExpressVPN deserves the #2 spot
This was my thinking as well. I would choose NordVPN only if I wanted to connect to different countries where Surfshark ain’t available.
Proton VPN also has a server load count in the top left corner, which will tell you if traffic is congested on its servers. It is super useful and I think more VPNs should implement this.
NordLynx protocol is a variation of WireGuard, so it isn’t that surprising that both provide excellent speeds. I would go with Surfshark just bcs it has unlimited connections.
I’m happy to hear it. They’ve been great so far for me and I haven’t looked back since.
Been using NordVPN for 2 years. No issues whatsoever
Imo, you’d be pressed to find a VPN that would give you a better long-distance connection. I’ve tried a few services before and they were super disappointing.
I can confirm this. On nearby servers you already get near-baseline speeds so the Accelerator doesn’t really show its potential
Is NordVPN better than ExpressVPN in terms of obfuscation too? I often travel to places with VPN restrictions and I’m looking for a VPN that works in strict censorship locations like the UAE and KSA
This will definitely save me some time. I can usually find the server with optimal connection, but I hate hopping between servers and testing them to make sure that I got the right one. I will probably switch to Proton once my subscription is over.
I’ve used a couple of VPNs including Proton VPN, it sure is good but I’ve found NordVPN to be generally faster on distant connections.
I’ve heard rumors that ExpressVPN works in China so I reckon its obfuscation capabilities must be second to none
