Read through the numerous previous posts about the same, and it seems Astrill is the unanimous decision (albeit the costliest one too).
Can I access Netflix, Amazon, Disney, and other apps through this?

I’ve been using Astrill. I’ve had less issues with it than I had with Express VPN. It still sometimes sucks, but I think that’s just VPNs in general.
Yes, I watched Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+ on Astrill without any real issues. Though Netflix sometimes would crap out as it recognized the VPN and would refuse to connect. I dropped all my subscription streaming services when I discovered some sort of expat TV box service that does basically the same thing, but cheaper.
I’m using LetsVPN. Cheap and works most of the time.
i used astrill and now using lets VPN cause its cheaper, yeah u can access everything
Astrill of course. It’s the best.
LetsVpn is very reliable.
GoFlyvpn works perfectly
Wannaflix and once you figured it out: running your own servers.
it works much better after I rig it on my router
I suggest use ssh proxy, you need a software like Shadowrocket or clash, and some proxy provider like 66nthu.xyz
I’ve heard there has been more of a crackdown on VPNs. Have any of you had issues with accessing LetsVPN or Astrill?
Dodgebox’s quality is a big compromise though.
I do too but has difficulty with Netflix and Disney
Using Astrill. Nope, no issues so far, apart from the VPN just automatically disconnecting itself whenever it wishes. Probably, my phone’s issue.
Is Dodgebox slang?
The one I have is great. The channel selection is pretty easy and reminds me of YouTube TV, which is what my brother has in the states, except it has 7 full days of playback on like 300+ channels. It’s got a fair enough selection of movies and tv shows. I watched the live action One Piece on it, as well as the bastardized Western version of Three-Body Problem. When I’m bored I’ll watch a week of Jeopardy or find episodes of Househunters International to watch.
My biggest two issues:
*navigation is a bit clunky.
*I don’t like the Chinese subtitles on some programs.
It works with Netflix. Will occasionally disconnect as Netflix detects the VPN. Then just restart it and reload Netflix. Not a huge issue. Or just download all the programs you want to watch and watch offline, which is what I do.
Yeah just what we call it around here. Good that you’re pleased with it.
Think it originated from the British expats - Sky in the UK used to call their set-top boxes a ‘digibox’, so easily transferred to ‘dodgybox’ given the UK legality of it.
It’s the most reliable way to get UK TV - you can with a VPN, but the BBC in particular are pretty good at working out you’re using one.
Spot on. We pretty much got it for CBeebies.
Bluey is so addictive…
