So I was using my vpn and thought I would try and watch some shows you can find in the us so I go to Netflix no change so I restart Netflix no change so then I do the same with the vpn still nothing so i look on the internet and still nothing cause it kept talking about a vpn I don’t have but the vpn works cause when I look up Netflix on my phones browser it shows shows that Are not in the US so Reddit normally has a answer so if anybody can tell me what is going on and how can fix it that would be awesome
Most streaming companies have a zero tolerance policy with VPN’s.
If they see you are using a ‘non-residental ip-address’, then your request is automatically blocked.
However, in this game of cat-and-mouse, they are plenty of VPN companies offering ‘residental ip-addresses’ in order to use streaming services like Netflix.
There is even a subreddit dedicated to using Netflix with a vpn.
