I’m trying to buy this COD Zombies DLC before the marketplace shuts down but problem is that DLC isnt in my region. I tried switching xbox and account region to that region and it kinda worked only problem was that i wouldnt let me buy and download it so i saw using vpn as my last option, theres like lots of guides out there on google but theyre very confusing, And when i did follow one it doesnt work and xbox live stops working. (I cant connect to it) So, any help? sorry if this post was such a mindfck X)

- Enable the VPN share on the VPN client, or on the virtual adapter created by the VPN client if the software does not natively support it.
- The Windows internet connect sharing may change your actual network adapter’s IP and DNS settings, revert them.
- On Xbox, see what IP, subnet mask and gateway the router DHCP assigns to the Xbox, then keep the IP and subnet mask, manually change the gateway to the IP of the PC, then manually change the DNS to a public one like 8.8.8.8
- That’s it. Setting it up is easy, but teaching you seems to be the hard part.
I don’t think using a VPN would work. You need to create an account in the region where the DLC is available and use an international credit card or a credit card from said region. Once you download the DLC, if I’m not wrong, you’ll be able to play it normally from your regular account.
I created an US account to download Kinect Playfit in the past since it wasn’t available in my country, and it worked fine, so I’m assuming the only thing different here is the fact that you need to buy the DLC. Good luck!
wow, it was that easy? Those YT videos and comments from maybe 2 years ago made it look hard…
I’ve done that account method but didnt really work since i didnt have a international credit card, Did have a debit card but didnt work. I’ve seen multiple people on this subreddit switch their account and console region to buy things and they said it worked out really well for them although it did require a vpn so i just followed them 
This method leveraged the default Windows ICS feature, the feature is confusing as it kept setting its own IP, the trick is to undo the IP setting once you enabled it.
You can use a VPN that has its own connection sharing feature, without knowing what VPN you use, I can’t tell if it has such a feature.
I use connectify and speedify
