Dear Cyberghost,
I have been using your VPN for a week and I am now having serious issues where I can’t open the app any longer on my Mac.
For some reason, I don’t see the little ghost show up on my top right bar and when I click on the app icon in my application bar nothing happens.
Sometimes, the icon on my top left bar does show up. However, I am quickly welcomed with a rainbow whirl which never ends (see picture).
Nonetheless, I seem to still benefit from a VPN connexion since it shows up in my network settings and seem to work.
I cannot possibly reinstall the app since the country where I am currently doesn’t even give access to your website.
Note 1: I got an error message (couldn’t find server) recently after having relogged somewhat miraculously (I waited for rainbow whirl to end) and now I am back with the same whirl again following the error message.
Note 2: After more whirl wait, it finally worked again until it proceeded to use an immense amount of ram (see screenshot) which led me to force quit the application and restart my computer…
After restart, I still can’t open the app however I benefit from the vpn coverage… I am extremely confused and I feel like it is overusing my mac’s ram which causes it to overheat and further cause problems.
Note 3: I someone got a Software update for 8.3.8 (27.09.2022) after all this trouble. I fell victim of the rainbow whirl again but I managed to click on the download update. Crossing fingers now
Note 4: I have been stuck on Downloading Update with the rainbow whirl for more than 10min now…
Note 5: Update got canceled and I got another system error due to lack of memory (similar to previous screenshot without the use of Cyberghost shown). I have a 16GB RAM computer. I don’t understand how this is even possible unless both my RAM bars died on me which is extremely unlikely.
All these issues have rendered my computer unusable… Please fix…
