If I use TeamViewer on my machine (computer1) to access ‘computer2’ in a different country. If I then visit some websites on computer2, will my location be seen as the country where computer2 is located? Or will my actual location (of computer1) be seen?
Would these websites be able to detect the use of external software (TeamViewer) if they are looking for it?
As far as they are concerned, all the data is coming from the pc you are using.
It doesn’t matter if you are sitting in front of it or using a remote access tool
I don’t think websites have the ability to detect installed software as the browser shouldn’t allow it

Yes

Possibly if they cared.
Possibly if they cared.
How? If possible, that sounds like a major security flaw i that specific browser.
You can use tricks to detect a registered file extension / URL prefix
I’m not following.
A normal computer is just browsing around on the way, and website, say that they are visiting https://example.com . If someone sat in front of this computer or if someone remotely controlled it via teamviewer would make zero difference to the http-requests being made to the example.com server, or to the browser that sends them.
What “registered file extension / URL prefixes” do you mean?
Teamviewer can have web links to open a session through teamviewer10:// URL, a webpage can detect whether or not teamviewer’s installed on your computer by trying to load something with that prefix and seeing if the browser gives an error back
That makes no sense… you just use that to connect. When you are connected to the target and open an new browser window on that computer, that browser will have nothing to do with team viewer. Did you missunderstand OPs question?
OP asked if websites site can detect if the use of external software, and using that method, they can. Same trick can be used to detect other software too, like checking magnet: can detect if the user has a torrent client installed.
What you are describing could possible detect the existance of software. Possibly. OP asked about USE of software. A browser cant know if you are currently connected to the client in question via teamspeak.
