5.1 If you choose “Send Files on TV” > go to your phone’s file manager, find your .apk, share it 1 by 1 with “Share” button, by finding “Send Files on TV” method in the list(IMPORTANT!). Install 1.1.1.1 through the “RECIEVE” list.
5.2 If you don’t have an Android phone, and you choose “File Commander”: Move all .apk files to your flash drive, plug in your flash drive to your Android TV, go to “File Commander”, install all of .apk.(You can do the same with “Backup Links”)
After that, you can choose “Sideload” app in your app list and see 1.1.1.1 icon(1⁴) inside.
Go to “Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse”, pair your Device to Android TV, and then you can use your phone as a trackpad.
Activate.
Go Back to Settings of “1.1.1.1” and choose preferable connection type(1.1.1.1 or WARP)
How to Use:
To Connect: Launch “1.1.1.1” through 'Sideload" app and toggle connection switch with your Remote (blindly clicking, or with “Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse” on your iOS/Android Device).
To Disconnect, toggle off the switch or restart your TV Box or change 1.1.1.1 to WARP or WARP to 1.1.1.1 in Settings and toggle switch.
Tested in Android TV browser, IP was changed.
Have a nice day
For anyone else stumbling onto this…I have few fixes…I am using Oneplus TV Q1
With the steps mentioned above,First, the app is in portrait but with around 80% of the view cut off…I am using this app “Set Orientation” https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/eyes-free-project/set-orientation/ to set the orientation to “Landscape”, after that when i launch the warp app, it’s in landscape mode…I have to do this on every reboot before launching warp app, whenever i want to connect…
Second, when connecting to warp, my android tv would just crash 5 seconds after clicking on connect…i had the same issue with wireguard…Turns out, i can’t enable VPN system wide…some sony tv’s also have same issue…Fix was, to go into warp settings, there’s a option to exclude apps…i excluded all apps except the ones i wanted VPN in…for me it was Plex (to connect to someone’s server which his isp is blocking me from, weird i know)…
Edit,
Also, I didn’t need the sideload launcher…i found out, 1.1.1.1 app is not visible in my android tv launcher, but if I go into settings → apps, its there in system apps list and I can launch it from there too.
Is this still working? I have an Google Chromecast TV and followed the steps. I installed and opened the app without any error but when I switch it to on, nothing happens. It still says Disconnected.
Does this still work? I see comments from 2 weeks ago saying it doesn’t. Could it be just the WARP app version causing them issues and it can be solved by just going to a previous version or waiting for a new update?
Getting a new LG TV soon with their webOS but it looks like I may need something like Chromecast with Google TV so I can have access to 1.1.1.1/WARP.
Change DNS, your ip address is not masked and location not changed, so no region bypass for Netflix or streaming services. WARP+ is faster and more reliable than typical free proxies or cheapo VPNs
I close the app in settings then reopen and click connect with a mouse and work flawless but Plex still loading here
On my phone the app was a night and day difference on plex.
