Initially, you could see the number of connections to each server in a region, test them, and choose one with lower ping. Now, none of that information is visible, and for the past two weeks, I haven’t even been able to access the internet through the server in my country. My connection speeds used to be nearly as fast as my ISP’s, but now they’ve plummeted to about 2% of that, especially on the servers I’ve been using for years. If you’re currently in the market for a VPN, I’d recommend avoiding CyberGhost. I tried to contact them about these issues, but there wasn’t a clear tech support option available on the account page. I’m quite frustrated. What exactly am I paying for? It’s almost completely useless now.
Support is something you paid for, so the lack of a link is strange. There is a “report a problem” button in the settings menu of my Android app. I think that’s it.
Yes, I agree. It’s hard for them to connect. There are times when I can connect to a server about 70% of the time, but most of those times the link is dead. Speeds are good once I connect to a live link, but sometimes I can’t get online anywhere in the U.S. How does it get good reviews on rating sites? Unless they base their reviews on a single short connection, I don’t get it.
