Every. Single. Match. I have a Huntress. She’s got 3 ways to read aura’s and just all around wall hacks the entire match. People just keep playing her because she’s ez and they can just throw her hatches in the direction where they see an aura and majority of the time, it hits because of the stupid hitbox.
DbD really thought putting the most played Killer in the mode was a good idea. Please fix the hitbox and stop with all the aura reading bullshit in your game. There is no skill in wall hacks period.
The only reason I’d be against perma 2v8 is because of Huntress. I think the game mode is fun at times, but holy when you just keep getting Huntress every match, you just want to go next because you just know your teammates are going to go down instantly every single time.
I’m fine with Huntress but the constant aura reveal to the point where you’re spending probably 80% of the match revealed gets exhausting. I’m also tired of having her every single match. I play her, she’s one of my mains, but seeing her so back to back to back is just…I dunno I guess I’d just want some variety y’know? I hope it’ll get better if/when they add more killers.
Honestly, I’m disappointed in the LACK of orbital hatchet hits in 2v8.
I usually have no issue with Huntress in normal game-mode yeah the hit box isn’t the most accurate but I can understand it. But for me the 2v8 hit box for her is actually insane…it’s like 2-3x its usual size. I thought it was just my shit fucking up.
Don’t get rid of her, add more options for killers to play. Boom, problem solved.
They shouldn’t get rid of her, but her hatchet hit boxes need to be the same as 1v4. The amount of times I’ve gotten hit by hatchets that just would never normally hit is insane. It feels like I’m getting hit with full blown war axes rather than hatchets
Damn you exaggerate in a post about seeing Huntress and everybody jumps to conclusions about my play style. I’m pretty sure I never said anything about me having issues with running Huntress. Pretty sure I said that about my teammates. I also said I’m tired of seeing her and the only reason she’s overplayed in this game mode is because she’s ez.
Doesn’t change the fact that she has an extra aura reading privilege that the other killers don’t have with her hatchets and combine that with her ridiculous hitbox, you get an OP killer in the mode and every other killer is just support. So I just know my teammates will be going down within seconds because it happens in almost every match.
Have fun with your guys’ discussion though.

The aura reading part is fine considering we get that too if you have teammates brave enough to be scouts and actually make the most out of their roles, but yeah the hitbox is insane. It’s always a crowd in this mode so she gets a hit with her hatchet 90% of the time.
I don’t think they should remove her though. If anything, they should just add more killers so there’s more variety since this mode is getting boring.

Removing her only removes content, why not instead add more content, add more killers the reason you see her so much is because there’s no other fun options. I hate to break it to you but trapper and wraith can only go so far. Hunter is a good all-around character gameplay wise ,I play her in normal matches when I don’t wanna be stressed she’s my go to pick sometimes and satisfying to play
Bro, ppl play huntress bc there’s milion of pallets on maps and 3 killers can make it without breaking pallets and one of them is nurse and she’s too hard for a lot of ppl
And imagine that killers also wants to win. Huntress and nurse are strongest killers here and the rest is way worse

literally. it’s as if it’s GUARANTEED that one of the 2 is gonna choose her, and whenever i hear the lullaby at the start of the match i’m like ah shit, here we go again…
of course, i’m not saying she deserves to get deleted from the 2v8, but just saying how i wish people would play literally anyone of the other 4 killers, and not her EVERY damn match. and the aura reading 24/7 part is true and annoying too, wish they’d do something about it since it’s almost the same as having aura-wall hacks or something
Naaah, I’ve been playing both sides and I’ve run plenty of Huntresses for quite a while (the tiles are insane and great for looping her!).
I play her in 2v8 because I’m not good at ALL at Billy or Nurse, and I was getting tired of facefucking every pallet as Wraith, and my friend I play with is the Trapper main, so I decided it was a good time to practice Huntress! xD I love playing her, was never good at her though, but with 10 hatchets and 8 targets it’s great practice and I’ve already improved and love her! Gotta say, hitting those shots is NOT easy. It feels it when you’re getting hit by a bus around a corner because latency said “that seems legit”. But you’re not also seeing all the times I’m getting absolutely ROBBED by a shot that should have hit but latency said “nah” or there’s random collision.
Good survivors juke the hell outta me. There’s plenty of counterplay. I juke Huntresses, too. Dunno what else to say.
Sounds like you suck as a survivor and it is not easy to get hits with her hatchets

Huntress is one of the easiest killers to loop/run-around in the entire game.
Skill issue my friend and I mean that in the most polite and compassionate way.
Practice with friends in some custom games or something.
(Or try huntress yourself and see if you feel the same way.)
