Google fully launches VPN for Pixel users
Pixel 6 users don’t count when counting Pixel users?
Not available in Ukraine
Nobody that’s least bit privacy conscious will trust Google for a vpn.
It causes all kinds of random and silent connectivity issues.
So as a Google one 2tb plan, pixel 6 pro user I feel horribly disrespected by this. Not only am I paying the same price as I had before the VPN was discontinued people who aren’t even on a subscription plan get access to more, better services than I do.
So how is this going to work going forward? Next pixel 7 users will be cut off then the following year pixel 8 users? Or is this all pixel users in perpetuity from here on out will have access to the VPN service. This is just a one generational pixel 6 unlucky kind of thing?
Now WTF is Google one? Google one isn’t very ‘one.’ Google one is just a subscription storage service at this point. I wonder if the storage plan isn’t going to be completely removed from Google one and you’ll have to pay for ‘one’ services and storage separately whether by cash or by purchasing a new device…
I realize this isn’t supposed to be incentive to upgrade to a higher number model pixel, but instead it makes me want to try to get rid of paying for Google one. Very shitty move by Google.
Does this really do anything if your ISP still has access to all your data?
Google decided that it should not go round. What a sad one for those not in the catchment area.
No thanks not how hooked in they’re with the governments
