Why would you cancel the VPN? You will need it to watch content from other regions.
They seem to have blocked the windscribe turkey servers. I tried again the last 3 days and they no longer work on the Netflix website. You’ll need to use something else like Hola for the sign up until windscribe fixes it.

People are always saying that but for every measure they implement, VPN providers will just find a work around.
I mean, that is a huge selling point for VPNs so they need to make sure that their service works with the biggest streaming service provider, otherwise VPN providers would see a drop in subscribers.
Your VPN protocol should be set to OpenVPN UDP for streaming, and at the worst case, you can try an obfuscated server from a supported region.
If your Netflix app is giving you problems, I use a site called unogs.com to search the Netflix global catalog, then click the watch now link on their site which forces the Netflix app to open the content you want in your selected region, provided that you are connected to a VPN server in that region first. I have no idea how it works but it did work the few times I needed it.
The only time the Netflix app gives me trouble is when I try to change regions in quick succession, but if I don’t use the app for a while and make sure that I’m already connected to my region of choice, then it tends to work fine.
