- Do I need to buy the premium platinum version for using vpn for 2 devices at the same time?

please share ur experience and tips/advice if u have are an expert or have tried let’s vpn lately in China.

Before travel:

  • Download the app

  • Sign up and pay for the membership on the day or one day before you travel

Abroad:

  • Open the app and tap start

  • If you have another device you could also log in using the same account on that other device.

Maximum number of devices per account is 2 and you can remove and replace any of them anytime.

If you have an eSIM or a western SIM card and using roaming or international data, you probably won’t need it. You will need it if you’re using a Chinese SIM card or hotel WiFi. If you’re getting a Chinese SIM card, get it at the airport (if you think setting up an eSIM is a hassle, try getting a Chinese SIM card outside of the airport). If you get a VPN, then set it up before coming to China. If you don’t, you’ll need a proxy website to be able to download it. Like you can download it whenever but you can wait on paying for it until you need to use it.

Typically you need to activate a VPN before you go behind the great firewall. This is because the VPN sites are very often blocked by the great firewall. So if you don’t activate it before you go (or no longer in a free trial period), then you will likely need to connect your (not activated) VPN to be able to access the activation functions - which is a “catch-22 situation”.

As for all of your other questions (and the one I suggested a possible answer for) you should ask the people who set the policies and rules for that product.

if you have Shadowrocket the app, then I can give you a free VPN links for free for three days ;

Getting an eSIM with a built-in VPN will honestly be a lot easier than getting a physical sim at the airport then using LetsVPN. I downloaded Holafly eSIM on the plane to China using the airline wifi and activate it once I landed, it worked like a charm everywhere I went, no stress no tech skills nothing needed to activate and use it. Cheaper too

I would activate it at least a day before you travel, just buy a month of platinum as the price difference is tiny. Believe me, not having access to so many websites is a pain and worth having a reliable vpn.

Hey! You can activate Let’s VPN before you go, and usually, the counter starts once you connect. The premium version may be needed for multiple devices or server selection. As for alternatives, you could also consider other VPNs, or if you want an easy data option, Holafly offers eSIMs with VPN included for smooth internet access in China. You can find more details about this here.

I’m going for a month

Wait to Use a vpn i have to get a sim at the airport than use the vpn?
