This was excellent, thank you! I just have one question, in the last 2 months of me doing this, I see a looooooot of foreign music categories. Is there anything we can do about that, or is that the price we pay for getting youtube music for so cheap? Here’s some examples
Are you sure this still works? I’ve tried new credit cards, I’ve tried deleting my cache, I’ve tried both Argentina and Turkey. No matter what I do, I get the same error: “Transaction declined. This purchase requires a payment method from your billing country. [OR-REH-05]”
What am I doing wrong?

All members of the family group can’t install certain apps since a few weeks because they are not available in your country. This is because Play Store thinks we are from India, while we’re from Europe.
When checking the accounts, everyone is set to the right EU country. Seems like they changed the play store to take over the family owner his country (India, when using this trick)
Does this work with an existing google account or a new account is needed?
Why do I have to clear browser cache?
Is it me or YouTube has changed something?
I used to have an Argentinian monthly subscription and wanted to use an Indian one, but now YT is not accepting my (MasterCard) cards anymore. 
No matter if it’s a physical or a virtual card.
I even tried to revert back to my previous (Argentinian) subscription, but got refused to apply…

This works as of 24th May 2023
I took out a one month sub with Nord, and cancelled renewal
Connected to Ukraine
Opened a Incognito tab in Brave browser
Went to Youtube premium,
logged into google account and confirmed who I was on my phone here in NZ
Got a free month for family and subscription for UAH 149.00 or NZD 6.53 a month (4 USD) starting in a month
Paid with my NZ Visa no issue.
Seems to be working.
As of 5/29/23, success with monthly Family membership (so-far) using Apple MC
- Add family members to account
- Family member may have to have same address on file - Add Apple MC on pay.google.com
- You may need a Ukrainian Payments Profile for Google Pay (see step 8) - Nord VPN to Ukraine
- Open Chrome Incognito tab
- Go to youtube.com/premium
- Sign in with your account
- Choose family membership
- Try signing up for a 1 month trial from another country and upgrade if there are issues - Pay using Apple MC
- This will automatically create a Ukrainian payment profile, in which you have to repeat steps if there is a foreign country payment error
From India it is 2.5$ payment working fine for me

I was able to get this to work today using Ukraine (about $2.50 USD). Argentina, India and Turkey were all no-goes. The only downside is that I really wanted an annual plan and not monthly but that doesn’t seem to be an option for Ukraine. But there was no address verification, which is where I think some people’s transactions might be getting declined.
This worked for me just now, thank you! I used a Ukrainian server and had to pay with a Mastercard credit card because my Visa debit card wouldn’t work. Once the subscription was confirmed I went into the YouTube app and changed the payment method to my Visa debit card and the price remained at 99.00 UAH (£2.06)
Still working, if you have trouble with Turkey try Argentina or Ukraine.
Just tried this with NordVPN on a Turkey server. When I entered my credit card info, it said: Transaction declined. This purchase requires a payment method from your billing country. [OR_RECR_05]
Anyone know if there’s a way around this? I’m from Canada for whats it’s worth. Kinda sucks cuz I had to sign up for a NordVPN membership to try this, hopefully they honour their 30-day free trial deal and refund me.
