How to set up a VPN to connect onto the router?

Do you mean that you want the Starlink router to handle a VPN for your devices? You can’t. The Starlink router has no build in VPN capability. You would have to either replace the Starlink router with a 3rd party router that can do VPN, or get a VPN service (like NordVPN) and have each device connect to that.

So what you are asking for is a router that handles the VPN for you. The Starlink router can’t.

So you need a 3rd party router, or other local solution (like a Raspberry Pi acting as a router)

I have discovered that https://www.gl-inet.com/ make small routers that are price competitive with a raspberry Pi and are much simpler to setup and configure. I have one that enabled tailscale so I can manage it from afar too
