For some time now, I’ve been using the Turkish Microsoft Store to make purchases, taking advantage of the more affordable prices. Until recently, everything was working fine with my Turkish Microsoft account, using a Turkish VPN, and paying with Turkish gift cards. However, I’ve recently encountered a problem: I can no longer make purchases from the web, despite still using the VPN and Turkish gift cards.Every time I try to make a purchase, I receive an error message that I’ve never seen before. I’m wondering if Microsoft has implemented new restrictions or if there’s an issue with the gift cards.Has anyone experienced something similar or knows if there’s any solution to continue buying from the Turkish Microsoft Store under these conditions? I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions that might help resolve this issue.

I couldn`t by anything too. I created a new turkish account with VPN via PC and it worked again. Lets see how long 
Anybody have any news ? I’ve been trying to buy from both Xbox and PC but nothing goes through… (I find it shady that they still let you redeem the gift cards tho!)
Even Xbox Support can’t force it to go through apparently…
There’s no way to bypass the new error on the website. For now, purchases still work on Xbox One/Series console (change location to Turkey in Settings on console).
That sucks. I was just about to buy Fortnite Crew in a few days as well. Guess i will save my $3
Ok so I can confirm that this wasn’t the case like 2 weeks ago on another account. But NOW with the same VPN provider, same device I can’t make purchase for the same item with different account. I’m confused and have NO idea what to do. If anyone have solution expect buying it on console (I don’t have one) kindly please comment it below. Guess I’ll wait few days and try again.

It is no longer working indeed, even using a real Turkish debit card (It used to work perfectly). They did like Google, if you are not in Turkey the payment will not go through. Again, using a legit Turkish bank debit card.
Hello everyone. Does anybody know if we can be banned from Xbox by changing the console region and buying with prepaid card allready registered on the account?
I have enough credit on my balance and want to buy in the turkey store on console. When i go on buy this error comes:
Change your Store region
The region in which your payment option was issued and your Store region need to match.
I don’t have a Credit card from turkey but as i said enough on my xbox balance. My only payment method is paypal and i have one pre order in Germany with it linked. Is this the reason or does anybody else have this error?
Did they only block Turkey ? Do other foreign codes like UK, USA etc work with a VPN ?
I don’t know if this will help you, but try changing the region of your console and buy directly with the balance you have recharged. I heard about the news and tried to do it and it let me buy and spend the balance I had so it may be useful to you at least temporarily
Edit:I don’t know if it allows you to redeem codes.But to spend the balance it works without problems
