You could just quick connect with P2P server n your good, P2P is best but any of the servers are good im sure the double vpn n onion are just a waste or might slow down download speeds so just go with P2P n Kill Switch

Sorry for this stupid question but how can you download files or games using vpn do you turn your vpn and normally download the file like you regularly do using your download manager ?

Pretty much yes. But most direct download links are fine without a VPN. It’s mainly torrents that will get ya.

And how do you apply it to the download?
Just turn on the vpn or edit extra settings from the download manager

Yeah just turn on the VPN and all internet traffic should be routed over it.
