Does anyone still have the problem of watching tiktok on their phone while on Purdue wifi?? It also blocks the app store among some other websites. Back in my freshman year 2nd semester (2023) Purdue blocked TikTok on Pal 3.0 and eduroam because of that big scandal. But it’s now been almost 2 years and I’m still not able to go on TikTok without turning my wifi off. Normally it’s fine, but some buildings I have little to no service, so it’s just annoying. I also have a vpn, but it doesn’t always work the best. It’s free so I know it’s not the strongest, but still.
Does purdue wifi still block you from TikTok too? Also any free VPN suggestions??
TikTok is blocked on the campus network, yes.
it’s an R1 school so blocking tiktok makes sense i suppose
but they block the app store?? so that’s why my new ipad wasn’t downloading anything huh. i literally called apple and everything and couldn’t figure it out. almost returned it smh
