The state required ID to gain access to the website and other major adult entertainment websites. PH, rightfully, said that was an invasion of consumer privacy and opted to restrict access of its website to devices in Indiana.
As a Hoosier I can still access many other secure adult entertainment websites without vpn. For now. Just can’t go on The Hub

Everybody keeps saying it is, but I haven’t had a problem. I do use mobile, but I’m connected to wifi and don’t have a VPN, and all it does is ask if I’m 18+ and I click yes and that’s it.

Yes. The state requires certain websites with a certain amount of “adult content” (interestingly this doesn’t cover Reddit, but does cover sites it can link to) to verify age with ID, or some other approved method. Pornhub decided to shut down access in protest of the law and because they don’t want to collect personal information like ID number. Some porn sites have acquiesced, others have gone the route of PornHub.
Just turn off your WiFi. Works just fine.
VPN works just fine.

They’ve been made less convenient to access but not blocked. ID is required if accessing from an IP address in the state. Fairly easy to circumvent via a VPN.
Also only applies to sites that are complying. I’d assume any adult site hosted in the US is complying but that leaves plenty of others with no restrictions.
