Internet issue. All lights green. Sites don’t load, refresh, load. Speed test takes 3 trys, than dont work. Multiplayer games work perfect but sites don’t… wtf techs aren’t much help
Does this happen on just a single device or multiple devices?
Does power-cycling the router & ONT make any difference? Connecting a computer directly to the ONT via an Ethernet cable?
Join the club. What’s your region? I’ve now pushed into day 3 dealing with the issue. Internet is barely usable and techs are useless. Setting to google dns on router or bypassing router all together didnt make a difference. Verizon reports no outage, but clearly there is.
Been on all my devices. They told me there’s a outrage after 2 hours with customer service… my pc fix is vpn
Nope but working this morning again. 100% dns issue
Working now in brooklyn nyc
Sounds like a possible DNS outage then. Changing the DNS on your router or devices to something like “8.8.8.8” or “1.1.1.1” may help.
Ah! Good to hear. Thank you for the update!
Yes. also bk,nyc. Finally Dns issues resolved but speed tier is still throttling for me at 100/100 max. Are you maxing out your tier?
I tried that didn’t work. Avg vpn on my pc is doing the trick so far. But my phones and TV are running slow at times. Keep refreshing. Once a show or game starts. It’s fine. Odd issue
Do your devices have IPv6 addresses? See what test-ipv6.com says.
I tried pc and router ipv6 on and off. Made no difference. It’s 100% verizon dns issue
Vpn on the pc, no issues at all
This sounds like the IPv6 issue, since VPNs typically go over IPv4. Try without your VPN and test at that site a few times.
I did, only vpn and 1.1.1.1 helped but things look back to normal now
