Is CyberGhost save enough to torrent content

I am relativly new to torrenting and was told to use an VPN. my budget is rather low, so after infoming myself a bit I found CyberGhost (the free chrome extention) now i am asking myself if this is enough to protect myself from whatever is outthere and if there are better options.

A Chrome extension will not secure your connection while you torrent.

You need a VPN provider with a dedicated application. I don’t recommend specific providers but you might be interested in AirVPN and Mullvad—users on this subreddit seem to find consistent success with these two.

A browser extension won’t protect your torrenting application.

They’ve been found to keep logs even tho they say they don’t.

DO NOT use CyberGhost. I was slapped with a DMCA Notice while CyberGhost was running the entire time. This was earlier today…

Download and use the CyberGhost client. Then you’ll be good for torrenting.

And windscribe, they are personally my favorite. The free 10gb trial should be enough, and it renews per month.
