It depends, if you use legit streaming services like Hulu, Disney, then yes. Because they don’t allow access through VPN. I have it just because it makes truly unlimited. If you only use YouTube and others, then stick with VPN and base plan.

Do you want to be able to do so in 1080p or higher?
Do you want to be able to use every streaming service without getting blocked for using a VPN/proxy?
Then yes.
If you just use YouTube, Tiktok, Facebook, etc., then a VPN is fine.

You can use thier streaming services with a vpn. I use Nord vpn. They work fine with the vpn
