Can’t find a direct download of a game I want to try out so I decided to finally try torrenting but I only have the free version of ProtonVPN and I’m not sure whether free is good enough

Pretty sure the free one doesn’t allow binding your torrent client to it. Also, the one time I tried ProtonVPN (without torrent client, just general surfing), I couldn’t get a net connection, so it was completely useless.
Sure as hell didn’t make me want to pay for it.
I pay for proton.its awesome, but the free ones were kinda slow cause a lot of ppl use the free swevers

Are you from a country that cares about piracy? If not you can torrent without a vpn
you can’t use a free vpn for torrents as none of them support p2p downloads. your best bet if you can’t pay for a vpn is ddl

dont bother, P2P is only for premium users. check gamedrive from the megathread for ddls of dodi games
Free ProtonVPN does not support P2P. Get another vpn
I think premiumize has a free trial, you can try using that instead of a vpn. Although it only lasts for like a week. If you have 3$ I would recommend getting real debrid, since it looks like you have no other use for a vpn.
