I was doing fine until a few days ago, then I could:
- intermittently log in, but:
- Occasionally when rtying to log ingetting the message that my account had been deleted
When filing a ticket I am alternatively told that:
Grrrrrrrr…
Running the --r command I get the message that my Username could not be verified. No change after logout followed by login.
Any suggestions?

I started having problems about 4 days ago. I am using Debian Bullseye. PureVPN support fixed it by changing my login password. Maybe they also did something behind the scenes.
They made a change recently where under Windows you can now log in using your
account username and password rather than the VPN username and password. I’m suspicious that that change broke something for linux.
Log into their website and try resett your VPN password and let us know if that fixes it.
All good now - all that was required appears to be an updated password. Got that advise here, and later in the day support did the same thing.
Worked like a charm!!! At the same time I got their advise to go manual again - not getting it that I already was……

Still using the terminal and commands. I would have thought “using the app” was something different but the technical support kept claiming the terminal approach was “the app”??? Can you clarify?
Our application is CLI based so in order to connect with the VPN app, you will need to use the commands used by our application.
