Was wondering if there was a way to connect my iPhone to the NordVPN app in a country where VPN’s are blocked and not allowed. This manifests in blocking all websites affiliated with the NordVPN url, and won’t even allow me to log into my account on the app.
Is there are way to fix this, or do I need to wait until I get back to a VPN friendly country to continue using it.

They have some alternative domains that should work, try nord-help.net. For the connection you can use manual setup, they have guides for that: https://support.nord-help.net/1047408742. However, if you’d need support and can’t access their site you can contact them via Twitter as well
If you have a router that has the option for DNS over HTTPS, then you can enable that option on your router. Now all of your DNS traffic is encrypted over the HTTPS connection. This prevents blocking of the Nord site since it is encrypted among the HTTPS traffic
I’ve seen quite a bunch of solutions but they often vary depending on where you are - I’ll try to post all the options I’ve come across so far.
NOTE FOR MANUAL CONNECTIONS:
During my stay in one of these countries I had to use a manual IKEv2 setup on my phone, but the servers I wanted didn’t work. It turns out that Nord’s support gives you a working server list upon request. I don’t know if this goes for all countries that only work under IKEv2, but it was the case for me, so it might be useful to keep in mind.
I had a huge issue with my login info and I saw many people suffer my fate online. So to hopefully help you avoid it, you have to use your service credentials, not your email and password. You can get them in your account settings on their website, though now I see each article has a step where it guides you on how to get those credentials with pictures.

I guess you are in one of the gulfs . Anyways … Yes you can since it is phone . I will tell you why and how. Most vpn websites are blocked in most of the gulf countries but you can download their apps and login successfully. E.g … You cannot open nord vpn website in gulf but you can download the app and login successfully if you already have an account . Have you tried download the app from the store and logging in with your account? … Let me know if you succeeded

I’d say a cache clear/Edge should do the trick but, if it doesn’t try their support email [email protected]. I don’t know if there are any other ways to get to their website beyond that alt link, but I’m fairly certain they’d be able to send instructions over text if not
