I want to hide Leo, Brave VPN, Brave Rewards, Brave News as I never use them.
At the moment no - but we are working on something! That work should start sometime soon. If that’s interesting to you, please subscribe to [Android] Hide/show main menu items · Issue #41801 · brave/brave-browser · GitHub for updates
Not from what I can see. I just ignore those options. Rarely click on them anyway. But I get wanting to remove them if you’re not going to use them anyway.
leo can be hidden with chrome://flags/#brave-ai-chat
no idea about the other buttons.
on Brave://Flags Disable this
Enable Brave Wallet
Enable BraveWallet ZCash support
Enable Brave Wallet Bitcoin support
Brave News prompts on New Tab Page
Brave News Feed Update
Enable Gemini for Brave Rewards
Brave AI Chat
Brave AI Chat History
Brave AI Chat Rewrite In Place From Context Menu
Prompt API for Gemini Nano.
And Enable this
Reduce waiting time for Private Network Access preflights response
Parallel downloading.
It is brave ads for the product, they will not let you remove them
No way to hide them. They want you to use it
I don’t believe there is a way, if you can’t ignore them you might want to consider Vivaldi. I just switched last week and have found it to be my favorite browser on Windows and Android so far. Definitely worth a check.
Don’t think there’s a way, they’re there by default
Not but you can not use them
Use a different browser. That’ll do.
Make offline playlist work…
Try not to be aware of them
Use a different browser, that’ll help stop those four buttons.
Why?? Do you want to remove these 4 buttons.
No option in brave:flags//?
Good find! News & Rewards can be similarly disabled in that flags page.
Thank you this worked!
"I’d like to see Brave offer a browser variant, call it Brave Freedom or something.
At the base, take the Brave browser. Now, subtract the orange theming and make it a plain, no frills interface. I want it to look like Chrome/Cromite.
Remove Brave Talk, News, Wallet, AI, VPN, or ask upon installation which ones should be installed or not. If not installed, they will not be in the menu.
Allow customizable menu on mobile (have a settings menu where all the junk can be removed). There’s 12 menu items and most folks probably only need 4 or 5 of those options regularly.
Completely remove any Google Safe Browsing.
Keep all the default privacy enhancements, and keep Brave Sync.
I’d buy this or pay a small monthly subscription. Anyone else with me?
I love Brave. I don’t love extra junk and I can’t stand the color orange.
Side note, if we’re using Beta or Nightly, make the entire theme match the app icon, because again Orange is bad."
