is Ultra Link Free Wifi for real?

If it costs nothing , you are the product. Nothing is free.

After checking them out, I would not give them my credit card #. It would be fun to spend the $60 on a pre-paid card but I guarantee the router has malware/spyware installed.

There is no way the little antennas can pick up sat signals.

two reviewers used the same non stock image for the review - FAKE

If it’s too good to be true it is… the device and website looks like a joke.

edit: lol

Refund Policy - Ultra Link

At Ultra Link, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality internet routers free of charge. Please review our refund policy carefully.

1. No Monetary Refunds

Since our routers are offered for free, we do not provide monetary refunds under any circumstances.

That’s doesn’t even make any sense but interesting scam. Routers are free of charge, for free wifi, except they’re not and you pay $60 and it’s non refundable.

the router in that image has 4G LTE printed on it, even has the little springy cellular antennas

Ok listen guys all this thing is is basically a big over excessive router/extender your internet isn’t even coming from the box or just the satellites itself it’s actually coming from the cellar company that you choose to purchase a data package with that will be on your physical Sim card where you then put into the device just like your phone is now the. Every month you have to purchase another monthly data package

I have this and and it didn’t work well at first but once I connected it to my StarLink it worked GREAT!

it is a scam ,too good to be true

I ordered it last night off Amazon. If its a scam i will return it. Spam and malware…most likely but for iptv is all i would use it for and with a vpn on cell phone. Never will input risky info using it. Not a gamble through amazon and its stated on the item with amazon 30 day return. On the 29th day i will file a return which gives even more time. Momma didn’t raise no fool. Lol. Most likely it will go back in 2 days. I see zero reviews anywhere including youtube. Hmmmmmm

I just bought one not on Amazon. I’m thinking it’s a scam but you just don’t know with Chinese stuff

Strange thing is i ordered off Amazon. They use yun express for tracking. It shows they received the shipment notification but nothing more. Now when you go on amazon it shows they are offering a preorder and will ship November 9th. This was not a preorder when i bought it. I was warned by a friend that this was probably loaded with adware and spyware so i will only use for streaming and no secure applications. If it really works… thats the question.

I looked for real reviews on this product. Couldn’t find anything reliable that I trust, other than this chat here.

I asked ChatGPT to source info, as follows:

The “Ultra Link Free WiFi Router” with “unlimited satellite internet” does sound suspicious, especially if it’s marketed as providing free, unlimited internet anywhere without any fees or contracts. Here are a few key red flags and things to consider:

1.	Satellite Internet Limitations: True satellite internet requires specific equipment like a satellite dish or receiver, which typically connects with a satellite in orbit to deliver internet. Routers alone cannot provide satellite connectivity without an associated plan, equipment, or installation.
2.	Free and Unlimited Claims: In the satellite internet world, there are often data caps or fair usage policies. Unlimited data is rare and usually costs more due to the infrastructure required to provide constant satellite internet access.
3.	Coverage and Range: Even genuine satellite internet services (e.g., Starlink) have certain coverage limitations based on geographic areas. Claims that a router alone can connect you to “unlimited internet anywhere” without a provider are unlikely.
4.	Hidden Requirements: Often, such products have fine print that reveals hidden costs, contracts, or extra equipment needs. It’s wise to check for any subscription fees, data limits, or need for a compatible SIM card or satellite dish.
5.	Check Reviews and Sources: If this is being heavily advertised but has little to no legitimate customer feedback, it may be a scam. Scammers often create attractive offers that sound high-tech but don’t deliver.

In short, be cautious. Reliable satellite internet always involves a service provider, necessary equipment, and often setup fees. A router alone can’t provide true unlimited satellite internet without these additional requirements.

Here’s how to get free Wifi

I only want to chime in on one thought… to connect to anything, you are connecting to a network. To connect to a network you need to get an address of some sort assigned to you. Then you need to authenticate and this process happens over and over again in intervals. You only get on if you have a user id and password of some sort. No network runs open except for your local coffee shop. And that’s free from you to them. They are covering the bill.

Ok. Here’s an overview:
Ultra Link appears to be a questionable product, specifically the Ultra Link Free WiFi Router, which claims to offer unlimited satellite internet with no monthly bills. However, its advertising tactics raise suspicions, using countdown timers and “limited stock” messages to rush buyers into making a purchase without researching the product thoroughly ¹.

The product’s website lacks transparency about how the router works, and its images show inconsistent designs without a company logo, suggesting potential drop-shipping or generic router resale ¹. Additionally, the reviews on the website seem fake, with only five-star ratings and overly positive comments.

Some red flags indicating a potential scam include:

  • Lack of clear product information: The website doesn’t explain how the router works.
  • Suspicious advertising tactics: Countdown timers and “limited stock” messages.
  • Unrealistic claims: Unlimited satellite internet with no monthly bills.
  • Questionable reviews: Only five-star ratings and overly positive comments.
  • Unreliable contact information: Non-functional phone number and private residence address ¹.

Given these concerns, it’s essential to exercise caution and consider alternative options.

If this device is legit and it’s free why would they need to put a 30 day money back guarantee on their product.
Come on folks if your that gullible I have 3 acres of prime real estate here in Ontario Canada not far from Barrie with a private lake right out your back door and it also comes with a large boat for those late night romantic cruises.
If interested call (569 555 1234).
Price is negotiable but this is going to go fast. I just put it up for sale on Monday and I have many calls for it so if your looking for a place to get away from all the bullshit and headaches of city life jump in and call the # above.
It will go fast, but I’m looking for people who will enjoy this vacation spot as much as I do and respect the lake and wooded area around you.

I ended up getting a refund from amazon. The particular seller i dealt with i had kicked off amazon. Long story but i got my way with a few calls.

Hey y’all it’s a scam for sure.you still have to have an Internet service and all it does is connect to a local free wifi that a coffee :hot_beverage: shop or store that offers it .You cannot buy this so called router and bam you get free wifi no it doesn’t work like that. They listed it as legal as they could to get everyone to buy it knowing it doesn’t give you free wifi.Reallt not slick just got a Alot of people to make them rich on absolutely nothing.

They made it look very convincing and the government lets them get away with while someone who has a great invention can’t get in anywhere. The world we live in today let’s every scammer get rich and every real person more poor .sad but true guys .If about 100 of us pooled our money together and invested into a solid good product or invention that had a low price to make and a honest cost retail we could sell yes those 100 could get rich .

They show it being used anywhere even out in the fields but don’t show how it gets its power? Are we supposed to walk around with a generator since they also have a TV working in the middle of nowhere??

I’m sure it will work as long as you pay a provider for service monthly. I think their scam is u won’t pay them for it after you purchase the router, bug u will pay somebody !Att, Verizon, Sprint, etc otherwise I do not believe that it will work. Next be cautious of buying anything from pop ups as these will most likely be scammers.
