I have an LG Smart TV running WebOS,
In which I can’t install a VPN directly.
However, I can use a Smart DNS .
I’m looking for a VPN service that offers a Smart DNS feature which can be used without installing their VPN application locally, just by its IP.
Has anyone found a good service that works for this? Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated!

VPN services generally have very limited Smart DNS support I find. If it’s only Smart DNS you’re interested in, you will get a better experience and can also save money by opting for a DNS only service. Googling will give you the most common ones like Getflix, smartdnsproxy etc. but I find smartstreaming.tv does the job for me and the price is also OK. Support is also very quick via email.

A permanent solution for free vpn forever on all your devices is to buy deeper network mini device. If you are willing to pay the price the speeds are amazing and you won’t pay again for subscription. If you got only one tv though on your network dns may be a good temporary solution. If you are going for dns solution try getflix service because it has lifetime subscription on stacksocial.com . Try it first ofc.
StrongVPN has StrongDNS that worked well for me in the past.
I thought about it,
But smartdns pricing looks to be only marginally cheaper than vpn.
So it seams using a VPN with smartdns will be more worth it,
We will have uses for VPN just ones that won’t justify buying one w/o smart dns support
I know how to use stremio,
But this is mostly for regional apps and shows, which doesn’t have much easly available presence on stremio,
And for family that already pays for some of the apps…

Only works with IPV4 which is usually never natively setup and can be impossible to change (from IPV6) on your router/phone/tv.
