Microsoft Edge Download Screen is showing the Chinese language when trying to download it using Google Chrome. My Default language is English. Is it a bug? Or any other Chrome way to irritate users?
For a start I think that may actually be korean.
Secondly, I’m in a chromium browser and it is correctly displaying English at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge for me.
Third, it seems like edge isn’t actually available in korean based on the microsoft website.
It happened to me too. Had to refresh the page a couple of times till it showed up in English.

That’s interesting…even if set to English are you downloading from outside of the us or using a VPN? What if you try to download in private mode?
It’s you’re regional Unicode settings most likely. I had mine set the Japanese and it gave me the Spanish version of the download. I set my Unicode to English US and it worked.
It happened to me on Firefox. I had to open the link on Chrome for accessing the English one. Try in a different browser or by changing the user agent in Chrome.
Yeah, and far more readable than Chinese.
I’m not using any VPN and I’m downloading it outside of the US. When trying to download it using other browsers works perfectly fine.
