Yesterday when I connected to American servers to watch one piece it just said a vpn or proxy is detected this is the first time it’s happened someone help
Your VPN is working. You’re under the assumption that a VPN is a magic key to the internet, that’s not what it is. You have a VPN enabled, Netflix detected that you’re using a VPN which is against their use policy.
If you want to get around it, you need to know how they’re detecting that you’re using a VPN and research ways around it. In your case, your VPN is using a data center IP at the endpoint which Netflix knows about. You can pay a premium for a VPN that doesn’t use a data center IP and you might accomplish your goal.
Time for a new vpn service.
Actually, the better VPN’s do apply “magic” to fix Netflix and don’t simple pass it through. Passing through is a short lived solution. OP, find a VPN that guarantees Netflix. They exist.
No. I paid for this and it was working fine just up until yesterday I know what you’re talking about if it didn’t work before why would I waste people’s time by making this post
“It worked fine before” means nothing. Netflix could have very well updated their IP blacklist tables yesterday. Companies like this update their tables like an Antivirus company updates their virus definitions. I’m not sure which networking services Netflix uses but a popular one is Cloudflare, which has a very in-depth VPN detection function.
You’re talking to someone who understands how this technology works VERY well. Just because it worked before doesn’t mean its going to work forever.
did you ever find another VPN to work? I’m in the same situation lol
Oh yeah I completely forgot they could that damn I’m dumb:skull:
I’m only mad cause I paid for this or else I wouldn’t be asking at all
Well I didn’t really go looking for one since I thought they would probably fix it and they did in like 3 or 4 days
