Updated Nord today and now I don’t have the option to choose a country where there are no ads on YouTube TV. Rats! Curse you, Tim Apple.
Is there any way around this? Any other VPNs that could still work?
Are you sure, I’ve had them disappear a few times, probably after an update, and I do an uninstall with deleting the cache and reinstalling, logging back in again and sure enough they’re there again.
What countries don’t have ads?
Hulu also seems to be annoying with VPN’s on the Apple TV. Maybe there is a Bigger problem going on right now?

I just used YouTube last night and I have the NordVPN and I was not having any ads
I removed and reinstalled the AppleTV app and Albania is back. seems like the app is just not that great.
Just get YouTube premium and change country to Argentina… it’s like 80¢ a month
Get a router where you can set up Nord via OpenVPN or Wireguard

Right. It isn’t very good at stopping you from getting ad-free from Albania, which I think they were trying to do. I think they want to limit the countries you can use with the update. But they haven’t (yet) figured out how to stop it completely.

Oy. I used to have eero in bridge mode but recently went full eero for the wifi 6 and passed the old router on to my son. Damn you, Tim Apple and Jeff Bezos.
I panicked for a short time. Ad blocking on my Apple TV is basically the only reason why I even have NordVPN. The amount of ads you get on AppleTV compared to other platforms is insane.
