I had been noticing that every time Nord updated the app in the apple store the VPN profile was being deleted and while it said I was protected the app would randomly sign me out and I’d have to set it all up again. I contacted support and they stated they may have a fix sometime in Feb but couldn’t guarantee it. I dunno if anyone else was having the same issue but in case they were I thought you’d appreciate this update.
I use a Mac and had been having the same problem until recently. The app used to log out on a frequent basis but it’s more stable now, at least with the VPN Protocol set to IKEv2. If I set it to NordLynx or OpenVPN the random logouts start occurring again. So you might want to try changing the protocol if you haven’t done so?
I get logged out if I disconnect or choose another server. Annoyed but used to it now.
Thanks for the heads up. I found I had same issue. I have app running on 1 ipad and 1 iphone. Had to do as you indicated (apple ios update on both devices a day or two ago). Thank you. With your heads up, it relieved me from thinking it was something unique to me. I appreciate you.
Think I might be having the same issue with getting logged out on my windows pc too, like will randomly get a notification saying “PASSWORD AUTH failed” and support told me the same that they’re working on it.
I almost never get signed out on my iPhone. But my iPad gets randomly logged out all the time, and it’s infuriating. It worked perfectly earlier today, and this evening all of a sudden I have no vpn and when I open nord I have to log in and add the profile again. 
oddly enough mine was set to IKEv2 and it keeps doing it if they are aware of it then, in theory, they’ll fix it but I thought I should share what I knew.
Very glad to help my days of doing tech support are long over but on the rare occasion family reach out my first port of call is somehow always the subreddit of whatever I’m trying to fix to hunt for the same issue. 9 times outta 10 I find it
