Out of country access to device - dual VPN

I am a newbie, apologies if my question has been asked before.

I am trying to wrap my thoughts around how to access my home computer while I am out of country.

The confusing I am having is having, nord vpn as my normal vpn and switching over to tailscale vpn. Do I need to disconnect from the nord vpn and then connect to the tailscale vpn?

One of the issues I will run in to is traveling to China and getting to my home server in US. I have to use a vpn client. Do I disconnect from the nord vpn and start the tailscale vpn for it to work?

What is the correct procedure?

Yea pretty sure you can’t have two VPN at the same time like that

Disconnect NordVPN and connect tailscale
This will connect you to your tailnet and any devices on it.

If you want to have your internet traffice route of your US home network while in China, read up on tailscale exit nodes
