This game, where should I get this from for my PC, xbox game pass or Steam, i don’t know much about the version mismatches at the moment and I am not really concerned about it since at some point this will be fixed sure the updates still might be slower on game pass than steam due to the whole microsoft certificates thing, but what if I downlaod and creat an ID using game pass and at some point don’t have a game pass subscription will I not be able to play it then, and If i buy it from steam later would I be able to copy my progress over, bottom line is where should I download it and play from so I won’t have to worry about compromising my progression?
Get the Steam version. Gamepass may lose it and you cannot always recover your save files from Gamepass, or at least I haven’t always been able to. That combined with the slower updates and being more susceptible to server issues makes the Gamepass version a hard sell for me.
Get the steam version. But the other answers aren’t saying is that the Xbox version/game pass is at least two updates behind. I played it on Game Pass first on PC and then decided to buy it on Steam and the experience on Steam is almost night and day, it’s plays a lot smoother less frame pacing issues and I enjoy it a lot better and a general sense. So you definitely get the steam version.
If you have the money buy it on steam if you already have game pass play it there until it does on sale
Steam if you want to own the game or game pass to try the game out. But the game pass is half the cost, so I would not waste my money if you are not interested in other games with game pass.
I can’t really answer your question, but I do know pc game pass can play together with xbox, but steam can’t.

Gamepass is one option, microsoft store is second (but game is not likely to leave gamepass for a long time) and steam is third. If you want crossplay between the console and and pc options 1 or 2. If you have friends to play with on steam buy on steam

There was apparently a price glitch in the Argentina region of the MS store. I grabbed a key yesterday for around 2$. You can still get one for around 5$ I think, just make sure to use a VPN to activate the key on your MS account.

So I just used Tuxler VPN and switched to Argentina and then also switched the region on my PC to Argentina, but the price shows up at 24,999 ARS. Am I missing a step somewhere? (This is the price in the Microsoft Store, third party sellers are around $10 CAD, but I wanted to just grab it through MS Store)
Nice man, once you activate they key you’re all good, no need for VPN anymore. I think it’s a steal at that price point.
I used a browser plugin called Urban VPN. You can use that browser extension for free and log into your Microsoft account through the browser, then change the region to Argentina. Then you can redeem the code while staying connected. Once redeemed, you can revert everything back. No further VPN will be needed.
