Apparently, it’s our turn for the ID law, and it becomes effective tomorrow, January 1, 2025. One thing I noticed, too, is there was next to NO news coverage that this was going to happen. The latest I found while searching was a story dating all the way back to July.
So, it’s here, folks. It happened while you weren’t paying attention.
Pornhub was protesting the id laws. Which I think is fair on their part. SRP was hacked and didn’t know about it for two months. So if a “secure” credit union is hacked do you think your info would be secure with pornhub? Most likely not.

I know some people think this new law will keep their kids away from the pron, but it won’t. The state government excels at coming up with BS, ineffectual laws like this instead of useful governing. Your representatives are either too dumb to realize what a waste of time this law is, or, more likely, preying on your ignorance to get easy political wins to get reelected.
