Whats is the best programm to connect a PPTP VPN with a Mac.
If there is a good free programm it would be even better.

Upgrade to OpenVPN, L2TP over IPSec, or similar. PPTP is obsolete, and massively vulnerable. It was removed from macOS for a reason.

ShimoVPN is a paid app, but I tried it with my personal PPTP VPN before I moved onto OpenVPN, and it worked for me.

I need to connect to my universitys server. Not really in my hands

I have the IPv4 information and my useraccount + password

Can i do something about it? Or do i have to use PPTP?
