ProtonVPN free work with unraid?

Does anyone know if the free version of ProtonVPN will work with Unraid, specifically DelugeVPN?

I thought I got it working with wireguard because the logs showed an IP address, and I was able to ping an IP address checker. But when I do a test download of Ubuntu there is no up/down speed. If I turn the VPN section of the config off, then Ubuntu downloads really fast. I’m wondering if there is something on the free version of proton that is missing.

I just wanted to check before I pay for a VPN. I know they aren’t super expensive, but if the free one works for my needs, then why not stick with the free one

Free Proton VPN servers don’t support port forwarding or P2P. So while it should work fine with Unraid in general and you can use it with containers to connect your containers to the VPN interface, it specifically won’t work for P2P.

ah I saw that there wasn’t port forwarding, but i didn’t see anything about P2P. Thank you for the clarification!
