Just checking to see that we’re still being screwed on connection? I just want to make sure that my uninstall in pure rage when the merge happened is still justified. Pre merge I was getting <10ms ping and my last game was >170ms. I miss my chicken dinners 
I’m in New Zealand getting around 140ms pings to the SEA servers. Some ISPs have shit routes to Singapore, tho. You can work around this with a VPN tho
And then finally, when there’s nothing left, when you can’t borrow another buck from the parent company or sell another skin, you bust the joint out. You merge the servers.
As far as I remember, the last official word was that they are not planning to reverse the server merge for that region.
Im in sydney used to get 5ms oce now i get ~88ms. I almost always played with a vpn to singapore before the merge anyways and my ping would be about 95ms then, so now it’s slightly better. i used mullvad vpn to singapore, wireguard, btw. you could surely get around 100ms if you care to sort your stuff out, change isps/try vpns… etc.

Where you VPNing to and where are you physically located?
I’ve tried a bunch of places, but Singapore was best. I’m in NSW, a couple hours north of Sydney.
If you have a bad ping to Singapore natively then VPNing to Singapore might not be much improvement since your ISP is still handling the routing part of getting to the VPN end point. When my ISP also had poor latency to Singapore, I found Brunei was the best location or Indonesia.
What sort of connection are you using? A fixed line or something wireless?
