Show the VPN settings screen?

Searched here but nothing found, so here’s my question.

Back when I was using workflow, even though you couldn’t toggle VPN on/off I was able to get workflow to show the settings page for VPN, then I could manually switch the VPN on and continue with the workflow afterwards:

  1. Workflow starts
  2. Displays settings VPN page, and workflow pauses to let me toggle VPN
  3. Rest of workflow is run
  4. Displays settings VPN page once again, where I can turn VPN off
  5. End of workflow

I understand shortcuts still doesn’t let u toggle VPN on/off. But is there any way to at least let me do something similar to the above?

You can do it with this app, it can create on and off shortcuts for the vpn:

Here are the shortcuts for the Tunnel Bear. The app must be installed:

Connect VPN

Disconnect VPN

It only uses their servers. I didn’t manage to find to work with the custom vpn. If there is a way to see how tunnels bear shorcuts is working, maybe there is a solution. Cheers

Thanks man. Can tunnelbear be configured to use the VPN you have already set up on your phone? Or does it route data only through their own servers?

Edit: my shortcut is intended to do something to a device in my home network. So it needs to connect to my home router’s VPN.
