TES 4 Oblivion shivering isles and knights of the nine

Hello! I have recently bought Oblivon as it was on sale, but unfortunately, I cannot buy the expansions, as I see only shivering isles in the shop and I cannot buy it.
Is it because of geofencing? And if so, how can I work this around?

Yes, Oblivion DLCs are region locked. You could buy them in another region, but you’l have to keep your console in that region to have them in the game.

I worked around this by buying a disc version which included at least 2 DLCs, but that’s not an option for Series S.

The US region has probably the most amount of DLCs. I do this kind of thing with some games from time to time. Here’s how you do it:

  • Change both your console’s and Microsoft account’s region to United States. (or wherever offers the most amount of content for your use case, though like I said, most often it’s the US region/market).
  • Visit a site like eneba or such that sell gift cards. Or just Google xbox 10 dollars gift card or something. I use eneba for this. Purchase a gift card. But make sure that the gift card is region locked to the region that you will use in. So if you’ll use it in US, then purchase a US region gift card.
  • After payment you’ll receive a code.
  • Open a incognito tab and enter redeem.microsoft.com. I always use a US based VPN just in case (or again any country VPN that you’ll be using the code in). After you log in to your own account, it’ll open a page where you’ll need to enter that gift card code. Afterward it will process it. And with the precautions of configuring your console, Microsoft account and even VPN accordingly, the code will redeem and that gift card amount will be active in that region.
  • Open your Xbox (or visit Microsoft store with that specific region). When you try to purchase a DLC in that specific region, in the payment page, if all else was successful, it will display that gift card amount you have available and you can purchase games, DLCs etc. and it will use from that gift card amout.
  • Afterwards the game, DLC etc. will work as long as your console is set to that region.

It seems a bit complicated and long, but it isn’t. My home country has some limitations when it comes to some games or DLCs so I generally use these methods to purchase them from the US store and play them accordingly.

Try to buy them inside the game and are you trying to buy them in console or PC?

It’s a regional limitation. The German store has way more DLC available:

If you can’t buy them digitally, the only workaround would be a Series X and the disc version of the GOTY edition.

Console, Xbox series s.

Yes. Well, I guess I can still play the steam version I bought for PC

Try inside the game, geofencing should not be the reason behind it since this basically doesn’t exist in console, you were able to buy the game so it doesn’t affect.

I tried, but without success

When you were looking for the “available content”, it provided you an error or just didn’t show anything?

There is nothing in the downloadable content
