So after updating my galaxy s9 plus if you recall there was a status bar that shows the connection with a key icon which you can see how vpn is or even disconnect it but after this update the whole notigication just does not show up and only a key icon show up at the right end of the status bar is it possible to make it how it used to be?
Thanks in advance
I’m having this same problem on a Umidigi Bison Pro. Whenever I used my Samsung Galaxy s20 plus 5G the icon always shows up on top letting you know that the VPN is working properly. On my Umidugi Bison Pro, not only is the icon not showing up it’s not working properly seeing the icon lets you know that the application is working properly. I used Warp+ 1.1.1.1 Vpn apk, and now it’s working but I am not totally happy with this setup I want the VPN to work on its own I don’t want to have to install an extra application to make this work what I’m going to try to do is downgrade my firmware to the next one and the next one to see what happens
Check notification setting in the app. Is it on?
And then go to device settings> notications> click ur vpn app and make sure all notifications are turned on
Basically check both app noti settings and device noti settings
I have the same problem as well.
VPN notifications are on and Android System’s VPN Status notification too, is on. (in fact it cannot be turned off)
But the vpn status bar is just not there. There’s only the key icon at top-right and VPN’s name at the bottom when the notification bar is pulled down fully.
It did exist on Android 9 but i can’t find it on 10. Or maybe it’s OneUI’s change.
Can anyone help or confirm this issue?
