Threat Protection Lite - Cybersec Replacement

I’ve installed the latest sideloaded version of the Android Nord app last night and noticed that Cybersec has been replaced by a feature called Threat Protection Lite. I can’t find any info on TPL on Nord’s site. Does anyone have a breakdown of the differences between Cybersec and Threat Protection Lite?

Wasn’t it mentioned on the changelog when updating? Seems like it was renamed, you can try reaching out to their support for an answer

Just had a chat with Nord Support. I was told that the only difference between Cybersec and Threat Protection Lite is the name. This is good to know.

Wouldn’t you rather have heavy duty threat protection? Lite?

it’s not the same. For me thread protection lite doesn’t block ads. I’ve just compared with another vpn, and another vpn blocked ads on the same website. Nordvpn posted that for Mac we need to download come OpenVPN version instead to have thread prot

Lol rite? Threat Protection Diesel.

Lite is the mobile version of Threat Protection.
The windows/macOS version doesn’t need to have an active NordVPN connection to work, the mobile (lite) version does.
