We are in search of an alternative to Todyl. They offer a cloud controlled VPN services that is always on and connected to clients offices. I know they offer other items, but all we are interested in is the cloud based always on VPN. (It does not matter what firewall appliance is located at each office.)
I am specifically looking for anyone who has used an alternative with some time-tested experience.
Todyl solves a lot of the problems P81, ZScaler, OpenVPN, etc have, which is cost and complexity. Todyl makes it cheap* and easy. One of the biggest downfalls of Todyl is that everyone surfs out of the same public IP. If you want your own node, it gets crazy expensive and even more so if you wanted it per customer. This makes things interesting for Conditional Access and locking things down with IP restrictions. The client isn’t super stable, I had a ton of issues when I tried to roll it out internally. Support was helpful but it was not a fun process and a lot of my employees lost trust in the service quick.
Have you checked out Always On VPN? Users always connected to an Azure Gateway, which then you can route to whatever network you want via VPN tunnels, which supports almost anything.
