Unable to Load History for nearly 2 weeks now

Anyone else had their account completely nuked in the past few weeks?

I can access my account from the ChatGPT app, but in the web browser it doesn’t work. There are errors in the console in regards to authentication tokens being undefined.

I have tried reaching out to their customer support and they are borderline offensive - they don’t acknowledge your problem and just send cookie cutter copy / paste responses: “we are so sorry you are an amazing customer please check the status page”

I really don’t understand what I can do about this at this point. I’m a paying customer without any recourse to their customer service. Right now they are basically stealing money from me for a service they are not providing.

What can they do and how is it possible that they can invent borderline AGI but not do basic webapp authentication? I am shocked and tired of their nonsense.

I’m having this same exact issue. Just sent them a support request since i’m paying for something I haven’t been able to use for over a week now. I’ve tried different wifi networks, computers, browsers, logging out/in, hard refreshing, deleting cache - nothing works. It just asks me to “upgrade to pro!” even though I’ve been paying for pro since the day they released it. SUPER frustrating.

Yeah it was Nord VPN Threat Protection for me. As soon as it switched off, it started working immediately. Thanks u/socketshot

Do you use NordVPN? Turns out their “threat detection” BS feature started blacklisting OpenAI urls. I have no f**king idea why they would do something so stupid like that, without warning anyone but here we are. Delete NordVPN or switch off the threat detection feature, not the actual VPN itself.

It will be a VPN or firewall stripping out the access token. Not anything on OpenAI end. Play around disabling things on your machine.

I also have this issue. Tried to uninstall NordVPN from my phone, still the same, did not solve the issue there :confused:

This sounds crazy, but I just did a full reboot of my macbook (something I VERY rarely do) and it worked.

Thank you! I forgot to post my answer - I was running Telerik Fiddler to analyze some network activity. That was messing it up. I appreciate your reply.
