I have tried to do my own research but everything seems a year or two old.
I am simply trying to watch football games that are not in my area, I have YouTube TV and was trying to see if there is a way to use a VPN on either the tv or PS5 to switch my location so I can see the out of market games, I am slightly dumb with stuff like this and I was wondering if that would work?
It depends on your TV device, if it is Android based you can simply install the NordVPN app on your device directly. You can check this tutorial. It is not possible to set up a VPN on your PS5 as consoles do not support built-in VPN functionality. In order to use it on the console, you would need to either set up a VPN on the router or share a VPN connection via a Windows device. More information can be found here.
if your tv does have an android based OS dor nord VPN you will have to set nord up onto ur router. PS5 doesnt have a nord app either
