VPN doesnt work for sports betting

Hi.

In my country, foreign sports betting websites are geo blocked (is this the right term?).

I tried many VPNs, but I just can’t access the banned sites (mostly error code 258).
Not even on a tor browser. Deleted cookies etc as well

Can someone give me advice on how to lift the restriction of those websites?

I’m not expert in IT at all, so I’d appreciate layman terms.

try this:

  1. Turn off your VPN
  2. Change your DNS to 1.1.1.1 (check here)
  3. Try accessing the site you want without VPN, just the cloudflare first.

See if it helps.

Any advantages on using the VPN as well at the same time?

You can’t. What VPN did you use? maybe I can help troubleshoot your VPN blockage as well.
Try using VPN that have OpenVPN protocol, and try that. You can do this in some VPN app settings, probably on network or general, try to find it, if there is the option to switch to OpenVPN, use it and try accessing the sites you want again with VPN this time (don’t forget to disconnect the cloudflare)

does anyone have experience with vpns and bovada?!? im abroad…i deposited and then they disabled my account …need help badly
